Dr. Charles Cotton was born and raised in Gainesville, FL. He graduated from Florida State University where he competed on the track and field team as a pole vaulter. After graduating from dental school at the University of Florida, Dr. Cotton moved to Austin, Texas and spent the last 10 years as a dentist caring for the underserved population in Austin. In his free time, Dr. Cotton loves playing music, outdoor activities, and gardening.  He recently moved to Fernandina Beach with his wife Laura, 4-year-old daughter Olivia, and 1-year-old son Dylan to join the Barnabas team. 

“This island is beautiful, and the people are so welcoming.” Said Dr. Cotton. “I am excited to be back in Florida to be around family and to be joining Barnabas.  Barnabas has an excellent reputation in the local community, and I am thrilled to be part of the team and to help this organization prosper.”
