Bid Online: EMPTY BOWLS 2025 Marketplace
As part of the Empty Bowls event, the online auction is now open. You can bid on beautifully crafted bowls and art pieces that showcase the talent of local artists, community members, and a local celebrity. Each bowl represents a commitment to fighting food insecurity in our community, with all proceeds directly supporting our neighbors in need. Bid often, the auction ends on December 1.
Our Impact
Barnabas Center helps thousands of people overcome life’s challenges by providing critical health care, food relief, crisis support and more. Here’s what we achieved in fiscal year 2023-2024:

Shred with Purpose: Protect Your Identity & Give Back
Spring cleaning isn’t just for closets — it’s the perfect time to safely clear out old paperwork while making a meaningful difference in our community.
Barnabas Center is grateful to partner with Thrivent for an upcoming “Giving thru Shredding” event, where community members can securely dispose of personal documents while supporting neighbors in need.
At this onsite shredding event, documents will be destroyed right in front of you by a professional shredding truck, giving you peace of mind that your sensitive information is fully protected.
How Your Shredding Helps Others
This event goes beyond document safety — it’s an opportunity to give back.
-
Fernandina Beach Event: Attendees are encouraged to bring food pantry donations to support Barnabas Center’s Nutrition Services.
-
Jacksonville Event: Participants may bring full-size basic hygiene items to help local families.
Every bag of shredded paper and every donated item helps strengthen services for individuals and families across our region.
