Pay the electric bill or put food on the table? This is just one of the tough choices faced by 40% of our Nassau County neighbors. To better understand these struggles, we invite you to attend the upcoming Meet ALICE Experience, a free event that offers a firsthand look at the challenges of living in poverty.
ALICE—Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed—refers to employed individuals who still struggle to afford necessities like housing, healthcare and food. This in-person simulation allows participants to step into the shoes of different families in Northeast Florida grappling with the realities of making ends meet on a low-wage income.
Take part in this powerful, interactive experience to deepen your understanding of the issues of poverty and explore how we can all help make a difference in our community.
