Local Businesses Support Barnabas Programs

Barnabas Center thanks The Delta Dental Community Cares Foundation, Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Publix Super Markets, Publix Super Markets Charities for their support toward Barnabas programs.

The Delta Dental Community Cares Foundation awarded a grant of $10,000 to Barnabas’ dental program. As a result, the grant will support Barnabas with the purchase of much-needed dental supplies. Barnabas is grateful to the Delta Dental Community Cares Foundation for its generous contribution.

Next, Store Manager, Craig Fitzpatrick & Community Relations Manager, Chris Norberg of Publix Super Markets presented a generous grant to Barnabas’ food programs. In addition, gift cards valued at $2,000 were also donated. The donations enable Barnabas to provide much-needed food for the food pantry and mobile food distributions throughout Nassau County. Barnabas thanks Publix Super Markets and Publix Super Markets Charities for their help toward people experiencing hunger.

Finally, Ed Hubel, President of Baptist Medical Center Nassau, and John Henderson presented a donation of $10,000 to Barnabas on September 27th. The check represents a legacy sponsorship for Barnabas’ 8th annual Empty Bowls fundraising EXTRAVAGANZA event on November 12th. Barnabas thanks Baptist for its support this year and since the event’s inception.
