Barnabas connects people to help and hope in Nassau County. There’s been a lot happening.

In July and August, Barnabas:

… New to You resale store aided 33 households in need of clothing and home goods.

… helped stabilize 19 households with rent, mortgage & utility payments.

… provided 6 bikes through the Bikes for Barnabas program.

… gave 53,694 pounds of food to 1,016 households.

… provided 693 patients with medical, dental and/or mental health services.

Barnabas Receives Support for Dental Program

Barnabas was recently awarded a Delta Dental Community Care Foundation grant of $20,000 to support our dental program. 

The program gives affordable dental services for low to moderate income adults who have no health insurance. The care includes exams, extractions, cleanings and more.

Enterprise Holdings Foundation Donates $1,500

The Enterprise Holdings Foundation donated $1,500 to Barnabas Center to support programs that help people in need in Nassau County. 

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Holdings, which, through its integrated network of independent regional subsidiaries and franchises, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car brands.

Hagan ACE Hardware supports Barnabas

Barnabas Center recently received a generous donation of $1,000 from Hagan ACE Hardware of Hilliard. 

The store allowed shoppers to round up their purchase at checkout May 17-27. 

Hagan ACE Hardware raised $498.07 from customer purchases. The company matched customer donations. The final donations totaled $1,000.

Barnabas extends its thanks to Hagan ACE Hardware for its contribution through its ‘local community impact’ program and to its very generous customers. 

Rayonier Advanced Materials Presents Barnabas Donation

Rayonier Advanced Materials Foundation presented a generous gift to Barnabas to support our programs June 5.
