Barnabas Receives Support From Publix to Address Hunger

Barnabas Center recently received a grant of $2,500 from Publix Super Markets Charities to support the agency’s food program.

The donation enables Barnabas to provide much-needed food for the food pantry, weekend meals for school children in need through the Meal Pack program and a mobile food pantry that helps families in west Nassau County.

In Nassau County, approximately 10,000 of our neighbors don’t know where their next meals are coming from. Barnabas provides food to over 9,000 men, women and children each year who are food insecure or experiencing hunger. Thanks to its supporters, including Publix Super Markets Charities, Barnabas is helping to address hunger in Nassau County.
