Barnabas Launches Ambassador Program

Barnabas Center recently launched its Ambassador program, which will help us support our neighbors affected by poverty, hunger and food insecurity, and lack of access to affordable health care. Barnabas’ ambassadors will help serve to increase awareness about Barnabas’ important work in the community.

Our goal is to get the message out to those who can benefit from Barnabas services, and that’s where Barnabas Ambassadors can help make a difference.

What is a Barnabas Ambassador?

  • Ambassadors make a difference in your community by helping Barnabas fulfill its mission of connecting Nassau County individuals and families to services that will help them overcome crisis and achieve independence by spreading the word about Barnabas programs and services.
  • Barnabas Ambassadors are passionate volunteers who often have first-hand knowledge of the life changing impact Barnabas can have on individuals and families.
  • Ambassadors are an important and valued part of Barnabas, and they work to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals and families by promoting our work.
  • Barnabas Ambassadors are influential supporters that help us forge friend-raising relationships and raise awareness about issues related to poverty, and hunger and affordable health care in Nassau County.
