BARNABAS CENTER WELCOMES A REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER FOR  CALLAHAN OFFICE

Fernandina Beach, FL — Barnabas Center is proud to welcome Megan Cagle, NP, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse as the newest member of the Barnabas team, serving the Callahan and Fernandina Beach medical clinics.

Megan has over 15 years of experience in the medical field, beginning her career as an Emergency Room Medical Technician before graduating as a Registered Nurse from Georgia Highlands College in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science and Nursing from Columbus State University in 2014. After a strong desire to provide more in-depth medical care to her patients, she continued her education at Columbus State, earning a Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2018 and graduating with honors.

Since then, Megan’s role in the UF Health Orthopedic Trauma Department has allowed her to serve general and orthopedic trauma patients while working directly with the Chair of Orthopedic Trauma Surgery. She was also the Clinic Leader for Clinic Initiatives and Process Improvements, a board member of the Telemedicine Task Force, and the department’s Total Joint Educator.

Megan also works part-time as a primary care Advanced Practice Provider with Go Forward: a telemedicine company providing remote 24/7 medical assistance.

“With the addition of Megan, who will primarily serve patients in our West Nassau clinic, we are providing access to care while also providing excellent service to those who need us,” said Jamie Reynolds, Barnabas Center President & CEO. She shared, “We are grateful to those who support our mission and the donors who have made this possible.”

Megan and her husband, John, have called Nassau County home for nine years. They have two sons and can’t think of a better place to raise a family. They enjoy going to the beach and shark tooth hunting.

Barnabas Center achieves its ongoing mission to provide help and hope to individuals and families in need throughout Nassau County, FL, to improve their stability, health, and well-being. For more information about Barnabas’ services and programs, visit www.BarnabasNassau.org.
