Casey Hemphill was born and raised in Bryceville, and currently lives in Yulee – a Nassau County native! Casey’s working background includes a variety of community and service-based jobs. She attended the University of North Florida and received a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics. In addition, Casey completed a 1,000-hour dietetic based internship. Currently, she is studying to pass her exam to become a registered and licensed dietitian in Florida.

Casey’s favorite food is the tofu bao from Wicked Bao in Fernandina. In her free time, Casey enjoys doing crafts and DIY’s, and shopping at the Fernandina Beach Farmer’s Market. Also, she is working on a fixer upper camper! Casey is looking forward to her new role as Nutrition Services Manager at Barnabas and has expressed her excitement to serve the community she grew up in. Casey’s goal and dream in this position is to help provide quality, nutrient dense food items to the Nassau County community.
