Jin Choi is the new AmeriCorps Member for Barnabas Center. Jin attended Boston College and graduated with a degree in biology in 2018. After receiving her degree, Jin served with City Year for two years tutoring and mentoring middle school students. This was all in underserved areas of Boston. This year, she had the desire to gain more experience working with underserved populations in healthcare. Therefore, she decided to join the National Health Corps. Jin chose to work in Florida to be closer to family in Tampa.

Jin is very excited to be serving in Fernandina Beach, and she looks forward to working with Barnabas this year!
