Eric Forestal is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his undergraduate degree in social work at Indiana University, as well as a Master of Social Work concentrated in organizational leadership. During his time at Indiana University, Eric founded the first Collegiate Recovery Community in the state of Indiana, which sparked his interest in community engagement and strategic planning. After completing his MSW, he relocated to Nashville where he received an Executive Master of Business Administration at Tennessee State University.
Eric has experience managing community nonprofit organizations, residential treatment programs, and outpatient clinics. His passion is focused on empowering vulnerable populations through advocacy, a dedication to evidence-based practice and a commitment to industry-leading service standards. In his position as Chief Operations Officer, he will be an active participant in ensuring the success and fiscal sustainability of Barnabas’s various programs.
