Barnabas Center thanks its community partners for their ongoing support this holiday season in helping us bring joy and hope to people in need in Nassau County.
The Surf Restaurant, Osprey Village, First Port City Bank, The Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise, and the Sheriff’s Department are all local businesses that participated in this effort. The Surf Restaurant ran a food drive where customers could donate canned food for $1.00 off their meal. At the end of the food drive, The Surf matched the total number of canned foods gathered from the community. Customers and staff collected a total of 1,000 pounds of food to distribute to the Barnabas food pantry.
In addition, Osprey Village, First Port City Bank, The Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise, and the Nassau County Sheriff’s Department each took part in ensuring families in need in Nassau County had access to food over the holidays by collecting over 11,000 pounds!
These food drives allowed people in need in Nassau County to enjoy this wonderful holiday season. Thank you to all for continuing to support Barnabas and its programs…YOU are greatly appreciated!
