Barnabas Center recently received a grant of $3,000 from Publix Super Markets Charities to support the agency’s food programs.
The donation enables Barnabas to provide much-needed food for the food pantry and mobile food distributions throughout Nassau County to help people in need, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the last year, Barnabas provided food to over 20,000 men, women and children who are food insecure or experiencing hunger. Thanks to its supporters, including Publix Super Markets Charities, Barnabas is helping to address hunger in Nassau County.
