Barnabas Health Services COVID-19 Regulations

Over the past several weeks, we have implemented many processes to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  Barnabas Center wants to reassure the community and patients that we have prevention as our top priority.  Barnabas Center is committed to keeping our patients, volunteers and workforce safe from exposure to COVID-19.  In addition to our existing infection prevention strategies such as strict focus on hand hygiene and distancing protocols, we have implemented additional safety measures to follow for office appointments.

  • Patients will be pre-screened for potential COVID symptoms prior to their scheduled appointment.
  • A face mask/cloth covering is required before entering the building
  • Patients should not be accompanied by guests unless a caregiver’s assistance is needed.
  • Please do not bring personal items with you, i.e., purse, cell phone, books, magazines
  • Reschedule your appointment if you are feeling sick with upper respiratory problems, fever, pink eye, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
  • Upon arrival, your temperature will be checked for a fever, if you have a fever, we will reschedule your appointment
  • We ask that you use hand sanitizer that is provided at the entrance table

In addition, patients needing non-emergent, routine medical care, can schedule a virtual visit with their provider. (Medical Program only)   Telehealth services will continue to be an option for patients.
