During the last week of October, the Barnabas Center board of directors and staff came together for the first-ever staff meet and greet event. The hour-long session included 13 Barnabas board members sharing how and why they became involved with the organization, an informative presentation on nonprofits and funding, a question-and-answer session, and a lively interactive activity where staff learned about the roles of the board versus those of the CEO.

We heard many positive comments after the meeting and plans are being made to make this an annual event. We’re all in this together!
