Fernandina Beach, FL — First Presbyterian Church will partner with Barnabas Center to host a food drive on October 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Publix Super Market at Island Walk (1421 Sadler Rd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034). This event aims to restock Barnabas Center’s Nutrition Services food pantry, which provides essential support to Nassau County residents experiencing food insecurity.
Volunteers from both Barnabas Center and First Presbyterian Church will be present at the event to collect donations of healthy, non-perishable food items and to provide information about Barnabas Center’s mission and services. Community members are encouraged to participate in purchasing items such as canned goods, grains, and other nutritious foods to support those in need.
“By coming together, we can make a real impact on the well-being of families and individuals in Nassau County,” said Jamie Reynolds, President/CEO of Barnabas Center. “Our food pantry plays a critical role in ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.”
Barnabas Center is dedicated to offering help and hope to those in need by improving stability, health, and overall well-being. For more information about the food drive or to learn how you can support Barnabas Center, please call (904) 261-7000.
