Barnabas Health Services has established a mobile health team to reach under served and rural areas in Nassau County. This initiative will focus on prevention and will reach people who need care but are unable to travel to Barnabas. The mobile health team will provide:
- Blood Pressure Screenings
- Blood Sugar Screenings
- Referrals to Community Resources
- Referrals to Barnabas Primary Care and Dental Services
- Nutrition Education – Healthy Eating Tips
- Enrollment in Smoking Cessation Classes at Callahan Medical Office
- Sign-up for Vision Screenings
