Dedicated Barnabas Volunteer Turns 90-years-old

Ken has lived in Nassau County for 24 years. His growing love for Fernandina Beach created a desire to give back to the community. 10 years ago, Ken started volunteering for the Barnabas food program after hearing about our services through his neighbor.

“I love volunteering for Barnabas. I get to meet great people every day and hear many inspiring stories from our clients.”

Ken has been retired from the United States Marine Corps for 46 years. He also worked as an auto parts plant manager until his official retirement at 62 years-old. Now, he is a dedicated volunteer who loves giving back to the Nassau County community.

This month, we celebrate Ken and his life milestone of turning 90-years-old. Barnabas appreciates Ken and everything he does to help people in need. Happy birthday Ken!
