Food Program

We help Nassau County individuals and families who are hungry and do not know where they’ll get their next meal. Our staff and volunteers collect donated fresh, frozen, packaged and canned food and distribute it throughout the county.



Our Food Pantry is open five days a week at the Weaver Center in Fernandina Beach. Residents can get food by going directly to the Food Pantry entrance on the west side (13th Street side) of the building at 1303 Jasmine Street. In addition to our main Food Pantry in Fernandina Beach, we also provide food to individuals and families seeking assistance at our Callahan satellite office. See hours of operation in the sidebar.


Your First Step

We are committed to helping Nassau County residents in need of food. At the same time, we honor the expectations of our donors and partners that we serve those most in need. Before you can receive food, you will need to provide proof of residency as well as eligibility based on income, which must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Click here to see the current guidelines for 200% of the Federal Poverty Level on both a monthly and annual basis.

We can provide a three-day supply of food (approximately 30 pounds) every 30 days. The food is pre-packaged and follows the nutritional “plate” to ensure a balance of protein, vegetables, fruit and carbohydrates.

Of course, we always are prepared to treat crisis situations on an individual basis, and we refer clients to other food resources and crisis assistance as needed.
