We are Nassau County Florida’s only comprehensive service center to help our neighbors in crisis so they can become healthy, productive citizens. Through our partnerships, we reach even more people and maximize resources. We address critical issues facing our community, such as hunger, affordable health care, and prevention of homelessness.

Churches, organizations, and friends like you are essential to our mission. Hundreds of our volunteers work hard toward meeting the needs of neighbors in crisis, and we depend almost completely on private contributions for our funding. Many of our neighbors face unexpected illness, unemployment, fire, or a change in living status, with nowhere to turn. Crisis Assistance was the very first program we offered and is still the “front door” of our organization.

We are Nassau’s major provider of food to people in need, operating the county’s largest food pantry and providing emergency food to individuals and families experiencing hunger, uncertain food supplies, and challenges with basic dietary needs. Our staff and volunteers, in conjunction with our many partners, collect donated fresh, frozen, packaged, and canned food and distribute it throughout the county. Through generous donations, we have recently been able to expand our programs to include fresh foods, nutritional education, and a teaching kitchen.
